Agneepath Agneepath Agneepath…just can’t get over it. So,
thought of writing on it. I have always like romantic comedies more than any
other genre of movies but then this action packed Hrithik starrer gets 10 on 10
J
For me it has always been difficult even to read about
violence, after watching the on air teasers it was pretty clear that AGNEEPATH
is all about brutal violent acts. Being a fan of Hrithik Roshan, I was eager to
watch and I took to risk of watching it after Karan (my lil brother) said it’s
an awesome movie and Hrithik has done awesomely well rather all actors have
done well. The idiot box also approved of it, whole weekend I watched every other
news channels chattering either about elections or of Agneepath!
So, yesterday kick started the love month by watching the vehement
Agneepath!
I have not seen the 1990 Amitabh Bachchan starrer agneepath…and
I’m glad Karan Johar decided to have Hrithik in the lead rather than the obvious
mistake other producers would have done :p
The opening scene when Masterji preaches his son about
goodness and how eye for an eye is not the solution to the problems was
perfectly directed…the love shared by a father and his child is displayed in
the best possible way.
When Vijay met his sister for the first time and handed her,
her birthday gift made me miss my brother for a moment…and when Shiksha came to
see him, at his place and they spend time together and Sonu Nigam sings aloud
Vijay’s happiness…I was mesmerized. I’m short of words for the kind of
innocence on Shiksha’s face and the kind of longing Vijay kept looking at her!
Hunger got a new definition while Vijay ate the daal rice
sitting outside his mother’s house!
Piggy Chops made me laugh whenever she came on screen…Chinese
staff from Singapore fluent in Nepali :D
I hated Kancha from the very moment he went mad at the piece
of mirror he found in the sand! But he doesn’t seem to overpower Vijay’s
character in the movie at all. I don’t understand why is Kancha getting too
much attention!!!
The write up would be incomplete if I don’t talk about Rishi
kapoor’s astounding performance, no one could have better Rauf Lala than him.
His dialogues were his mark!!!
Evil loses in the battle as always, but battle was roller coaster ride, could blink in the entire movie…breath taking action and
expressions by even character actors, I would like to mention about the change
of expression lala’s younger son gave when he saw Vijay carrying the dead body
of his elder brother.
The movie personifies the importance of relationships in our
lives! I called mom dad around five times while watching it.
Agneepath agneepath agneepath.... I loved the start of your write up. well written. :)
